Terms of Service

Last updated: ⁦2026-10-21⁩

These terms govern your use of ijra and any subscription you buy. By using ijra, creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

1.Who provides the service

ijra (اجراء) is provided by Alileus. "We" and "us" in these terms mean Alileus.

  • Commercial registration number: ⁦7050212898⁩
  • VAT registration number: ⁦313028699300003⁩
  • National address: 3162 Al Abbas Ibn Abdul Mutalib, Al Taawun Dist., Riyadh 12475, Saudi Arabia
  • Email: ⁦hala@ijra.ai⁩

2.The service

ijra shows Middle East news events on a map, with headlines and short summaries in Arabic and English and links to the original publishers. You can browse the map without an account on the Free plan.

Stories are gathered from news sources and processed automatically: AI services translate the headlines, write the summaries and assign categories and locations, without prior human review of each story. Stories may therefore be incomplete, delayed, mistranslated or inaccurate. ijra is for general information only. It isn't a substitute for official sources, emergency alerts or professional advice, and you shouldn't rely on it alone for decisions about safety, travel or investment.

3.Verification and source labels

Each story is labelled Claim, Developing or Confirmed, with a score from 0 to 100. The score is calculated automatically from the number of independent sources reporting the story (syndicated copies count once), how many outlet perspectives they span, whether an international wire agency carries it and how many headlines frame it as a claim.

Outlets carry automatic labels for their perspective (the country of their owner or home base, or the movement they belong to) and their ownership (for example, state-run or private). A "Blindspot" flag marks stories covered almost entirely from one perspective.

These labels are automated estimates that give context. They aren't ijra's editorial judgement, don't mean we endorse or reject any outlet or story, and may be wrong. Locations can be approximate: a story that names only a country is shown at a representative point in that country. If you spot an error, tell us at ⁦hala@ijra.ai⁩.

4.Your account

You don't need an account to browse the map. To create one, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address; there are no passwords.

You must be at least 18 to create an account or subscribe. Give accurate information, keep your email account secure and don't share your sign-in codes. You're responsible for activity on your account; if you think someone else has accessed it, tell us at ⁦hala@ijra.ai⁩ straight away. An account is for one person and can't be transferred.

5.Plans

  • Free: the live map with events from the last 6 hours and the country filter, at no charge, with or without an account.
  • Pro (billed annually): everything in Free, plus history from 24 hours up to 30 days, filtering by news source, export and email alerts, for one year.

The features of each plan are shown on the pricing page before you subscribe. We may improve or change features over time, but we won't materially reduce the paid features of your Pro plan during a period you've already paid for.

6.Price and payment

Pro costs 599 Saudi riyals per year, including 15% VAT, paid in advance for the whole year. A subscription that started at an earlier price renews at that price while auto-renew stays on. Before you pay, we show the total, the renewal date and the subscription terms, and you must accept them to continue.

Payments are processed by Moyasar, a licensed payment service provider, using mada, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay. So that your plan can renew automatically, Moyasar saves your card as a token; we only see its brand and last four digits, never the full card number.

7.Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically every year on the date your paid period ends, and the renewal is charged to your saved card at the price shown at that time, unless you turn off auto-renew before then. We'll email you at least 7 days before each renewal. If the price changes, we'll tell you in advance, and you can turn off auto-renew before the new price applies.

If an Apple Pay payment can't be saved for renewals, your plan won't renew automatically; we'll remind you to renew it yourself.

If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry after 1, 3 and 5 days and keep your access in the meantime. If every attempt fails, your subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan.

8.Turning off auto-renew

You can turn off auto-renew at any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then moves to the Free plan, and you won't be charged again. Deleting your account ends your subscription immediately. In both cases the unused time isn't refunded, except as described in the next section.

9.7-day right to cancel and refunds

Under the E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulations, you may cancel your subscription within 7 days of subscribing and get a full refund, provided you haven't used any of Pro's paid features (such as the longer history, export, email alerts or source filters). To cancel, email ⁦hala@ijra.ai⁩ from the address linked to your account. Once we confirm your request, we refund the full amount and your account moves to the Free plan.

Outside this right, payments aren't refundable for unused time, except where Saudi law requires a refund.

Refunds go back to the original payment method; how long they take to appear depends on your bank. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge, and we'll look into it and correct any mistake.

10.VAT and invoices

All prices include value added tax at 15% under the VAT Law and its Implementing Regulations. For every payment we issue a simplified tax invoice in line with ZATCA's e-invoicing rules. Each invoice shows our VAT registration number, and you'll find your invoices in your account.

Our VAT registration number is ⁦313028699300003⁩.

11.Content and intellectual property

Headlines and articles belong to their publishers and are protected by the Copyright Law. ijra shows only headlines, its own short summaries and links to the original articles; it doesn't republish full articles. The ijra name, logo, app, map design, summaries, translations and labels belong to us.

You may use ijra for your own personal or internal purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish or resell the service or its data, except through features we provide, such as export, and then only for your own use.

13.Acceptable use

You must use ijra lawfully, in line with the Anti-Cyber Crime Law and the other laws of the Kingdom. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that violates public order, religious values, public morals or the privacy of others under Saudi law.
  • Access other people's accounts, our systems or our data without permission, or probe, test or break the service's security.
  • Attack, overload or disrupt the service, or introduce malicious code.
  • Scrape, crawl or extract data beyond the features we provide.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your connection with them.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we may report unlawful activity to the competent authorities. Where possible we'll tell you why, and you can contact us if you think we've made a mistake.

14.Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but we can't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every story, label or location is accurate. We aren't responsible for the content of publishers' sites we link to.

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Saudi law that can't be limited by agreement, or our liability for fraud or gross negligence.

15.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it amicably. Otherwise, the competent courts of the Kingdom have jurisdiction, and you may also file a complaint with the Ministry of Commerce. These terms are available in Arabic and English; if the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes; the date at the top shows the current version. We'll tell you about significant changes by email or on the site before they take effect. Changes to the price or subscription terms apply only from your next renewal, and if you don't agree, you can turn off auto-renew or delete your account.
