Yemen's ambassador to Washington affirms: confronting the Houthis is a defence of international security, and Iran is the source of the threat

Yemen's ambassador to Washington, Jamila Ali Rajah, confirmed the accuracy of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's remarks about the dangers of the military influence of the Houthi group.

Yemen's internationally recognised government has been in conflict with the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), which controls Sanaa and much of the north, since the war escalated in 2014.
