Iran ·

A senior regional security official told Al Mayadeen that the updated comprehensive plan of Iran's armed forces has been completed and is fully ready to be carried out. According to the official, the operational plan is based on an immediate response to any attack.

Iran's relations with the United States and Israel have been strained for decades, with disputes centred on Tehran's nuclear programme and its regional role.
