Malekshahi, Iran ·

Security forces arrested Mohammad-Reza Tork-Joush, a Kurdish man from Malekshahi in Ilam Province, and took him to an undisclosed location, according to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network. The network says he was taken without a warrant from his family home in the early hours of 29 October, and that his whereabouts and condition remain unknown.

Kurds are an ethnic group whose communities live mainly in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey, and rights groups have long documented arrests in Iran's Kurdish areas.
