Urgent: Houthis carry out heavy shelling of residential villages in Tor al-Baha

Yemen ·

A local source told Crater Sky that five artillery shells fell on several residential villages in Tor al-Baha district of Lahj governorate within just 15 minutes. The source said the shelling came from Houthi positions in the Hayfan and al-Athour mountains.

Yemen's Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) controls Sanaa and much of the north, while government-aligned forces are positioned in parts of the south. Lahj and Taiz are among the governorates where the two sides have clashed along front lines since the war escalated in 2015.
