Commander in the Giants Brigades: Any party negotiating with the Houthis over a truce will be our adversary

Dhuwaizin al-Salmi, a commander in the Giants Brigades, rejected any move to negotiate with the Houthi movement over truce or de-escalation initiatives. He warned that any party seeking to bring the group back into the picture through negotiations would face his opposition.

Yemen has seen a conflict for years between the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), which controls Sanaa and most of the north, and the internationally recognised government, whose forces include southern armed groups such as the Giants Brigades.
