Dubai International Financial Centre raises its AI bet to 1,000 companies by 2030

The Dubai International Financial Centre said it aims to attract 1,000 artificial intelligence firms and create 5,000 jobs in the sector by 2030. Its Dubai AI Campus has already drawn 500 companies, two years ahead of the target set when it launched in 2024. Arif Amiri, chief executive of the DIFC Authority, made the announcement at the Dubai AI Festival 2026.
