Yemeni government forces claim attack on Houthi positions in al-Misrakh, while Saudi attacks on Bani Hashih kill at least 15

Yemeni government forces said they carried out three air attacks on Houthi positions in the al-Misrakh district of Taiz governorate. Taiz, which is held by the government, has been under an ongoing Houthi siege that has triggered a worsening humanitarian crisis.

Yemen's Houthi movement (Ansar Allah) controls Sanaa and much of the north, while forces loyal to the internationally recognised government have fought it in a long-running conflict that has divided the country since 2014.
