Pakistan offers Saudi Arabia tax-free oil storage to boost energy trade, diversify supply routes

Pakistan ·

Pakistan's petroleum ministry said on Friday it had offered Saudi Arabia tax-neutral oil storage facilities under a newly approved bonded policy. The offer would allow Saudi companies to set up commercial petroleum reserves in Pakistan and diversify their supply routes.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have cooperated on energy for decades, and Saudi Arabia is one of Pakistan's main sources of imported crude oil.
