Bilawal seeks end to debate on new province

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari made the remarks to reporters after inaugurating the expansion of a public-private project. He said the Sindh Assembly had already decided on further administrative units in the province and that the debate should now be put to rest.

Sindh is a province in southern Pakistan that includes Karachi, and the Pakistan Peoples Party has governed it for many years. Proposals to create new provinces or administrative units in Pakistan have long been politically contested.
