Erdogan says South Korea could partner in Turkey's Sinop nuclear project, Yonhap reports

Türkiye ·

Erdogan said in an interview with Yonhap News Agency, reported on Monday, that South Korea could become a partner in developing the planned Sinop nuclear power station. He said Turkey has been studying the technical and economic terms of the Black Sea project with the state-run Korea Electric Power Corporation.

Turkey has sought for years to build nuclear power plants to diversify its energy supply, and the Akkuyu plant on the Mediterranean coast is being built by Russia's Rosatom.
